The Mission Accomplished Anniversary

We all know what anniversary is today:

I for one am tired of hearing about the progress being made. It’s years later and there are more and more American soldiers giving their lives for—yeah, for what?
Hussein is dead. His regime is gone. Iraq had elections and has a democratic elected government. So why in God’s name are there still American soldiers giving their lives for an accomplished mission in a country that is continuously making such progress?
This has long nothing to do with leadership anymore. But everything with control. The micromanaging control that does destroy more than anything else. For GOP politicians who want to get re-elected in the near future chances die away with all these “leadership” action.
Well, duh! They are politicians after all… And, remember the headlines from a few days ago: The White House Can’t Find A Military Leader
Technorati (All Links are external): american soldiers american voters anniversary continuously control duh failure gop politicians iraq war lawmakers micromanaging micromanaging control military commander military commanders military leader mission accomplished more than anything else president bush tv stations withdrawal ethics leadership management politics

Did you listen to President Bush’s speak today?
Failure?
It very much felt like this President considers democracy only and only than when it serves his purposes. Didn’t we just had an election with the majority of the American voters expressing that they are not happy with the way how the Iraq war is handled? Aren’t there many polls stating the same? And yet—President Bush seems to be coming from a different planet. Why doesn’t he do what all leaders do: Listen?
If just he took a few minutes and reads a newspaper or turn a radio on or TV stations…This has long nothing to do with leadership anymore. But everything with control. The micromanaging control that does destroy more than anything else. For GOP politicians who want to get re-elected in the near future chances die away with all these “leadership” action.
What do you think—how much support does President Bush still has within the GOP?
Well, duh! They are politicians after all… And, remember the headlines from a few days ago: The White House Can’t Find A Military Leader
So, which military commander is he talking about anyway?
