software engineering?

A great many think that software has errors—no matter what. As a matter of fact there is a lot of software which does do what it is supposed to do. But blaming others is just an easier option, right?

There is a reason why software development is named Software Engineering.

Would you dare buying a car which has not been tested?

Probably not, but with software it is a totally different story. Most software is neither tested properly nor do developers and management see it as engineering.

   I use untested software all the time, but that’s mainly my QA for Mozilla .
