Screaming and Yelling?

Every once in a while one can witness that an employee get screamed at, cussed at.

Do you think that there are times when it actually helps—to have a loud argument between manager and employee?

Do you think the manager is stepping over her boundaries?

Should the employee yell back?

What would you do?

   I’d argue it depends on the scenario. Sometimes, a hearty dose of decibels provides the requisite shake up necessary for action but a more measured approach could prove equally, if not more effective. You can’t discount the volatility of human emotion and a tactical one liner from both parties could be categorised as an argument.
   
   Would I yell back? You bet I would!
