Nothing More Than A Big Pile Of Mud?

© Copyright Frank D. Kanu 2000-2008

Remember—a few years back President Bush made a big deal of his superior education—a business administration MBA. From Harvard Business School. Their MBAs lead more corporations and receive higher starting salaries than all the other MBA. But one really has to start to wonder how much worth those MBAs really are. (Harvard’s that is.)

Show me one day where the White House or the Bush administration is not in the news for incompetence. Now this has happened to a lot of other Presidents and their administrations too—but they didn’t claim to be superior over the rest of us. And most of them still had approval rankings way better then President Bush can show.

Today is another sad day in the history of a properly business—isn’t that what President Bush would like us to believe a Presidency is?

The White House acknowledged yesterday that e-mails dealing with official government business may have been lost because they were improperly sent through private accounts intended to be used for political activities. Democrats have been seeking such missives as part of an investigation into the firing of eight U.S. attorneys.

Administration officials said they could offer no estimate of how many e-mails were lost but indicated that some may involve messages from White House senior adviser Karl Rove, whose role in the firings has been under scrutiny by congressional Democrats.

We all know that there is legislation how to deal with e-mail, how and how long to store them.
A properly run business and their leaders and managers follow the laws and make sure that laws are being followed.

Isn’t that part of the MBA studies?

What do you think this tells you about the management and leadership abilities of President Bush?

Do you think people get unmotivated by those news?
