Just file ‘em!

Sometimes in the late 80’s I was working at a business that just got their first computer. Software was on 5 1/4 floppies - like this one:

It was a flimsy floppy with 360KB storage…

The secretary was told to file away the floppies the computer came with.

So the secretary punched holes in the floppies and put them in the folder…

   sadly, i used to have an old word processor (brother) and i typed all my journal entries on it while in high school and college. save to a disk. last time i went home, my mom said “i threw away a bunch of your old stuff.” one of the things was my old word processor. i still have the disks….
