Did you know that already 1/4 of companies fired employees because of misuse of e-mail? And some 2% because of misuse of instant messaging? And bloggers have been laid off too… How secure are you after the latest gossip you have bcc’d?
It is all related to the fact that more and more companies see themselves in court because the messages their employees sent out. Or their blogging activities. We all know that blogs have become a very powerful—positive and/or negative—marketing tool.
A great many employees are not even aware of the rules companies have in place.
