I don’t think that in a few years a lot of developers will be left

It will be a few bigger companies offering templates and that will be it. The complexity of software development has increased and the willingness to learn it isn’t really there.

Plus too many people/companies think that software development is like mowing a lawn: Fast, easily done and should not cost more then 5 bucks!

There will be two types of developers: The old fashioned ones who really understand what they do and the new coders…
