   I think EMINEM has a song that goes something like:
   
   “I am who you say I am”
   
   Our leadership ability or potential is irrelevant if those we lead have no confidence in our ability.
   
   Just my two cents and I hope it makes sense.

   It seems to me that the person who provided you with the feedback, Frank, was using leadership style and supervisory style synonymously. Are they synonyms?
   
   Other information I’ve received in this question includes results of leadership assessments and feedback from client or supplier surveys.
