Failure is a necessary and unavoidable part of life. It can induce stress or it can be the next stepping stone on the path to success. I have found that having a great deal of optimism and persistence in my life (which I attribute to my mother) help me to examine and deal with failures. Pessimists are not so fortunate and may be more prone to playing the “Blame Game”, rather than marshalling their talents and teams to create new victories along the road to success in all facets of their lives and careers. I welcome the input of others at dennis.ringland@babson.edu .
