   If enthusiasm is lost, would money be enough to keep a person going? I was once involved in an organization where I would readily sacrifice my other commitments for. But when I lost my enthusiasm, I decided to just leave because everyday felt more and more like a burden.

   I think that you can see the importance of enthusiasm especially at young startup companies. The older they get the more management and leadership struggle with keeping employees enthused.
