Gifts

Around the holiday season companies and/or people start gift those they do business with. Some of those gifts are quite expensive; sometimes worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
Accepting gifts is not always allowed; depending on company policies or the person’s position. Things get really interesting when at the same time refusing a gift is a cultural no-no.
I think the reason that many choose to re-gift those gifts is because they do not feel like the gift was given with the right spirit or it’s something they really hate. When you find out that you have gotten a re-gifted gift—how does that change your opinion about the other one? If you receive those business gifts—how many of those do you think are re-gifted?
