I'm recently started pursuing my graduate MA Management & Leadership degree, and the very first class we had to take was Human Resource Management. Probably the key point of the course is that, at the end, it's the workforce that the company lives and dies by. Organisational charts and grand strategies do not make money on their own; it's up to the individual employees to implement the corporate vision, for better or worse. And at the end of the day, it's the human resources that make the difference in today's competitive environment - ultimately, winning ideas come not from corporations, but from people.

Cheers,
George
