Get Results through People

I will pay more for the ability to deal with people than any other ability under the sun
John D. Rockefeller

It does not matter in life what we do—we always have to deal with people. We are getting the result we want through people—that’s how we are gaining the competitive edge; not because of our products or services.

Would you agree?

I’m recently started pursuing my graduate MA Management & Leadership degree, and the very first class we had to take was Human Resource Management. Probably the key point of the course is that, at the end, it’s the workforce that the company lives and dies by. Organisational charts and grand strategies do not make money on their own; it’s up to the individual employees to implement the corporate vision, for better or worse. And at the end of the day, it’s the human resources that make the difference in today’s competitive environment - ultimately, winning ideas come not from corporations, but from people.

    Cheers,
    George
