   He’s lucky that he didn’t call me. I would’ve said, Yes you’re the guy who is about to be listening to a dial tone. LOL

   I know exactly what you are talking about. I really love the telemarketers that can’t even speak english lol. Like I am going to buy something from someone I can’t understand. make no scents.

   A small percentage of people will buy from contacts like you experienced. As long as that is the case, how can one stop it? One partial solution is the National Do Not Call registry or to get an unlisted number.

   Usually, when I get a telemarketer to call me they say “Can I speak to Randolph?” To which I say, “No.” This usually flabbergasts them long enough to begin stuttering. If they have a comeback, I say “Well, you asked if you could. The answer is still no. Please remove us from your calling list, or we will report you.”

   I always say huh or what after every sentance and they finally give up and hang up.

   The sad thing is that companies care so little about their image that they will hire any guy/gal off the street for this.
