Have you ever picked up your phone or replied to such an e-mail: Hi—I just got your spam and loved it so much that I want to do business with you…?

I really do not like this approach, do you?
Doesn’t that sound too familiar from cold calls? If for whatever reason that person would have gotten past your gatekeeper you’d be hanging up before the caller had finished their introductory sentence. Still, every day we are bombarded with e-mails similar to this one. Maybe it’s time for the e-mail gatekeeper for everyone in business?Have you ever picked up your phone or replied to such an e-mail: Hi—I just got your spam and loved it so much that I want to do business with you…?
What I find more interesting is: What is your reaction when you have an employee sending out letters like this?
