I myself was going towards an IT career, I'm in university right now earning a degree in fact.  However, I personally find myself much more interested with the business and marketing aspects of the web, instead of coding a giant, detailed web 2.0 application.

Maybe some of these IT prospectives are realizing their are better ways to make money than working for a corporation.

Of course, low job security doesn't help either :P</description>
