Left or Right?

The other day—when leaving our drive way I turned the turning signal on. My wife thought that’s funny—but it really got me thinking. All day long you see people making turns—but the turning lights stay off. Now, I really do not believe in coincidence—that every single turning signal of the hundreds of cars I see are broken…

More than once have I seen how people almost ended up hitting each others cars—because they just couldn’t figure out what the other one wanted. Maybe worst are those drivers that signal to the opposite side they are going…

What happened since the 80’s when I started driving and now? Is using the turning signal not a desired skill anymore?

You know, at times I wish that people would get a little shock via the steering wheel when they forget that little signal…
