How To Make Big Brother Look Like a Baby!

Under the authorisation signed last July 4 by Jacqui Smith, video feeds and still images captured from roadside TV cameras, along with personal data derived from them, can be transmitted out of the UK to countries such as the US, that are outside the European Economic Area.

UK civil liberties groups are appalled that the UK government is monitoring the daily movements of British citizens on a wholesale basis, even more so that it’s willing to provide surveillance images and data to foreign intelligence agencies.

I Don’t Want To Be Rude

© Copyright Frank D. Kanu 2000-2008

Some days ago someone send me a message expressing his interest to network. I asked for a good time to have a chat and receive this answer:

“…but, and I don’t want to seem rude, why would you be interested in me?”

Well, duh—you contacted me in the first place!

Do you think, that this person was

Don’t be afraid to fail. Don’t waste energy trying to cover up failure. Learn from your failures and go on to the next challenge. It’s OK to fail. If you’re not failing, you’re not growing.

Grafitti=Violence?

© Copyright Frank D. Kanu 2000-2008

Some of the communities in the Triad area (NC) consider a teenager curfew; the hope is that teenager will then behave more appropriate. (Whatever that will be. After all, the elderly have always considered the youth to be of much of this or that… There are times when I wonder why some folks are so eager to slow down the youth-they were young again and did their share of annoying others.)

Anyway, according to the local news, the curfew is considered to “Stop Graffiti and other violence”

Wow!

Have you ever heard of graffiti being violent?

Now, I am not saying that gangs use Graffiti and get violent to protect theirs, but what annoys me is how much the news anchors rape their native tongue.

How can children learn a correct language when TV And radio are full of crap. And I am only talking about the news and sports—ignoring the rest…

How about this: Instead of a curfew—we start teaching proper language and communication. Wouldn’t you agree that that will solve at least a few of the issues with the “rotten youth”?
