What is more important:

throwing away a half trillion dollars in Iraq or the health of our children—especially the underprivileged and needy?

Can we really afford to let children die or suffer? Let’s not forget, that children are the future of all societies. What kind of message are we sending when we make it that clear that we do not care about our own future?

Personally I’d expect more from a President. Wouldn’t you?

“I don’t want our troops feeling like I’m making decisions based on politics when lives are at stake,” he [President Bush] said. Came again? How would you as a soldier feel, knowing that your child back home has to suffer—because the Commander Guy thinks they do not need anything… ?
