What map do you use?

Some soldiers got lost; they are cold, hungry, worried. A leader stands up and says: “Follow me! I have a map.” They follow him, even though all they wanted to do was to sit down. Eventually they reach civilization. The leader is hailed as hero.

Then they find out that the leader had the wrong map.
