Management consulting = mortgage?

Besides getting spammed from mortgage trends (Welcome to the Mortgagetrends@mail.readylist.com.au mailing list!) lately things are shaping up in a rather crazy way:

There are e-mails coming asking how my company does help with
a) Getting a mortgage
b) Financing without a down-payments.

That includes people sending me personal information (address, social, phone number, SSN, working history). Maybe I should call up one of these people to find out if they actually did submit this info or if it is just another SPAM SCAM…

In any event - let me repeat I am a management consultant.
